I used everything from tissue paper to magazine cut outs. Parts of her face and her hair pieces are from a photograph of my Aunt Doris that I hand colored. Aunt Doris was the entertainer of the family who was part of USO during WWII in Hawaii.
Aunt Doris was also on the cover of the Post and received a master's degree at a time when women didn't usually finish high school. She became a teacher and retired years later from that profession. But I know for certain that Aunt Doris continued entertaining in her classroom.
